    The goal of Project India is to raise awareness of diabetes in Ahmedabad Gujarat, India. Project India will put a concerted effort to collaborate with pharmacy students and other health professionals to organize numerous health fairs where blood glucose screenings will take place. We have gotten verbal approval by the State Health Department of Gujarat, and they are welcoming this initiative with open arms. We have also solidified a project manager located in Gujarat, India.     1. We will only be receiving monetary donations. We want to avoid shipping of any supplies to India. We also want to avoid carrying supplies with us to the airport.

    2. Since we will be taking monetary donations, we will be purchasing most of our supplies in India. We are going to be calling Lifescan in India to see how much they are willing to donate towards our initiative.
